Jake Freestone, Farm Manager, and Penelope Bossom, Owner of Overbury Farms, will be conducting tours, giving you an opportunity to gain considerable insight into the management of the farm as you tour around the beautiful Bredon Hill.

Tours will leave from The Close, the field opposite the Village Hall, in the centre of Overbury, and will take in various aspects of the farm and the stunning views. There will an opportunity to talk about the woodland and parkland management, wildlife and the sheep flock.

This year, visitors will be able to take part in a pollinator survey, results from which will be collated nationally to give a clear picture of how well these vital insects are doing.

We expect that the tour will take approximately 1h 30mins.

Enjoy a tractor tour to Park Farm to see the lambing first hand and meet the Overbury Game-keeping team. With lots of eye-catching displays, including a marquee from the Wool Room this (our 9th) year, there’s plenty of activities for all ages.

Congratulations to the Yew Tree Pub!

The Yew Tree pub at Conderton has been awarded two prizes at the annual Wadworth awards ceremony. The prizes were Retailer of the Year and Tenant of the Year Awards.

Dale Allison, was extremely thrilled to hear the news and it is a great reflection of his hard work and effort that he has put in to the Yew Tree. Dale has also recently taken on the Bayshill Inn at Cheltenham which is well worth a visit as well. The pub also received Best Newcomers at the awards last year.

Here are some stunning photos we took last Christmas!

This included remodelling the upstairs to include a bathroom next to the two bedrooms, fitting in a cloakroom downstairs as well as re-wiring, re-plumbing, re-tiling and re-anything else you can think off!

These photos show the work in progress and as you can see, the property is almost finished, with the kitchen being installed very recently and the upstairs currently being painted.

There is also the garden which is being landscaped, and includes a wonderful 10 x 12m vegetable plot; so if you a keen gardener and love to grow your own vegetables, then this is the place for you.
